The Champions anthology is a collection of winning short stories from the online writing forum for fantasy writers on the Fantasy Writers forum on Reddit.
The competitions these stories won range from the end of 2011 until the middle of 2015, meaning that the entries in Champions cover almost every kind of fantasy genre you can think of. With over thirty stories this anthology showcases a wide range of tales and demonstrates what it is we most love about fantasy tales: that anything is possible.
The book is now published and completely free!

I was reading your “Champions” collection, which I like a lot, and I was wondering if there was any contact information for the writer of “Opal”.
Hi Dana, I’m so pleased that you like it!
I think that the best way to get in touch with the author is probably to get in touch via Reddit, as that’s how I was in touch with them. Here’s the link to their winner’s announcement: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasywriters/comments/2r7isy/congratulations_to_ua_retrophrenologist_winner_of/
And their userpage: https://www.reddit.com/user/a_retrophrenologist
Unfortunately not… i checked as i was hoping that they had gone on to write more,, but Retrophrenologist hasn’t been active on the site for 3-4 years.
I wonder if they’ve made themselves a new Reddit user with their author name… It’s a shame they didn’t link to it!
